With laid-back "best of 3" race formats, skills sessions, jump jams, DEMOS, raffles, and endless good vibes, this event is all about having a blast on your bike and connecting with the community. Cool Runnings PRO SLALOM Invitational: Best of 3 runs – single slalom for top pros, great for fans!
Cool Runnings Amateur SLALOM: Unlimited runs for 2 hours – best time counts! Categories 1-2+. 50 spots.
Women’s JUMP SESSION: Build skills, confidence, and camaraderie with other ladies with the guidance of Coach Kat Sweet + pro free-rider Chelsea Kimball.
JUMP JAM: Open jam- Free to the public! Fun for all with a "Best Whip" contest
Demo & Vendor Row: Try out demo bikes and gear from premium brands on the park's diverse trails.

SUNDAY JUNE 1: NO DEMO, Enduro race day, Spectating, Raffles, podiums, food :).

FAQs
Is there camping?
Camping- yes, the RC field has very primitive camping, or Kitsap Memorial State Park Campground has power and facilities only 5ish miles away. https://maps.app.goo.gl/aRZURmdhLwbvZHE7A
Where is day-of event parking?
Plans for a new parking lot are scheduled to be completed near the Top Gun zone for 2025, but not sure if it will happen in time. Parking will be at the rc field, in other lots, and some spaces in the park.
How does a person get an invite to the Cool Runnings Invitational?
The Invitational rider list has been pre-selected by Matt Orlando and Jill Kintner. Pro Riders who want a spot can send an email to Hotlaps@gmail.com about getting on the reserve list if there is room prior to the event. Apologies if we missed you, please reach out if you are pro and want to race!!!
Can I come to the event if I am not planning to race or do the jump jam?
Absolutely! Come one come all! There will be plenty of things to do at The Top Gun Zone outside of racing. Stop on by and enjoy the free bike demos, heckle the racers, eat pizza, and ride some of the most fun trails in the state!This is a frequently asked question?
Are there a capped number of riders for the invitational and what qualifies them?
There is a rider cap of 75 that we cannot exceed due to race logistics. Qualified racers are chosen based on prior race experience. Riders who want a spot can inquire about getting on the reserve list in case we have room prior to the time of the event. We will review your race results which will admit you to the reserve list.
Amateur slalom will also be capper at 50 riders for quality.
Who will we see at the Cool Runnings Invitational?
Some of the top racers in the country are slated to compete at the invitational. Keep an eye on our social media for more information!
Do you have to register for the Jump Jam?
No registration required. Show up and throw down with everyone.
HOW DO I DEMO BIKES?
Demo bikes are first-come, first-served. Visit the vendor row, sign up at the demo tent, and provide your ID. Once registered, you'll get the details to pick and ride the bikes you want.
Demo bikes are free to try, but bring your gear (helmet, shoes, etc.) and check with the vendor for any specific requirements.
